Bluegrass Airport Environmental Assessment
EHI has numerous projects with the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky. Working on projects ranging from Environmental Assessments to Civil Design EHI has been involved in the following projects:

Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Runway 4R-22L
EHI Consultants participated in the EIS for a new runway. Responsibilities included data gathering with regard to land use, demographics, water quality, environmental and transportation conditions; preparing digital maps; inventorying interest groups; creating a description of economic, physiographic, and demographic trends. EHI also participated in facilitation of public meetings.

Blue Grass Airport Environmental Assessment
This environmental assessment involved a detailed assessment of the environment, land use, water quality, and population as the result of a proposed runway expansion. EHI also assisted in the public facilitation and an inventory of housing and transportation network in the vicinity.

Environmental Assessment – Runway 9-27
Work tasks under this Environmental Assessment consisted of identifying environmental, land use and socio-economic issues the construction of a new runway.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky Compost/Gardening Project
EHI conducted a Phase I assessment for developing and on-site composting and gardening project for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky. Under this assessment, EHI identified environmental concerns, health and safety issues, compliance regulations, design guidelines, and land area concerns related to developing a composting process as a waste management method for organic waste at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky facility.
